Cumulus: Really? So we’d be able to have a baby with all three of us as parents?

Lilac: Or even just make it possible for two of us to have a baby, if one of us doesn’t want to.

Rosemary: Well we should set up an appointment!

Lilac: Yeah, I’ve been told that their office is always really busy. We might have to wait a couple months, and then wait a little longer to have test results come back.

Cumulus: So what do you guys think?

Rosemary: I say let’s do it.

Lilac: I wouldn’t mind having a kid that isn’t a bratty teenager.

Rosemary: But how will this work? Like we’re girls? And there’s three of us?

Lilac: Well, one of my coworkers is in a relationship like ours, and they had a kid with all three of their genetics.

Lilac: Hey Cumulus, I wanted to thank you for talking with Pansy. It really changed her. It may take some time, but still.

Cumulus: Your welcome! I’ve heard she might be staying for a bit?

Lilac: You heard correct. Wow, that painting is amazing!

Cumulus: I know! It’s my first masterpiece! The money I earn from selling it can go towards a bed the three of us can share!

Lilac: Heh, it sure can.

Lilac: We need to tell mom and dad about this rumor. We don’t have to say anything else, just that it’s making life in Berry Springs rough. We can see if you can stay here for a while. Maybe until you graduate in two years. You can get a job and save up for your own place. We can help.

Pansy: Really? That’s awfully nice of you guys. I don’t know what to say.

Lilac: Well, I can’t say for sure we can make it happen, but we can sure try. The only thing I want you to do is apologize to Rosemary and try to improve your attitude.

Pansy: Yeah, sure, whatever. Thanks, Lilac.

Cumulus: I see why all of this is happening, but I just can’t ignore what you’ve done. You have been very rude to your sister and everyone else. I’m not trying to reprimand you, because it sounds like you really love your sister. The only way that you can redeem yourself is to explain to your sister what’s going on.

Pansy: I know, I know. I’m really sorry.

Cumulus: You don’t need to apologize to me; you’ve been going through a rough time.

Pansy: I’m just afraid to go back to Berry Springs. I just made the rumor even worse.

Cumulus: We’ll figure something else. Just go to sleep now. We can’t think when we’re tired.

Pansy: Ok. Thanks, Cumulus.

Cumulus: No problem.
