Rosemary: Thanks for letting me stop by. I need to go to work myself, but you, Lilac, and I need to meet up. She’d love to meet you.

Cumulus: That sounds wonderful! I’ll give you my number; just call me when you both are free. I work at home, so I don’t have to worry about scheduling.

Rosemary: Will do! I hope you enjoy living in Waffle Creek!

Cumulus: Oh hello! You must be my new neighbor!

Rosemary: My name is Rosemary, and I live in the rental house down the road with my best friend, Lilac. She’s at work, but I figured since I saw you move in, I should come meet you!

Cumulus: That is so kind of you. I was going to head over in a bit, but I got lost in my painting.

Goldenrod: Now kiddo, we’re expecting a future son or daughter in law the next time we see you.

Cumulus: What?

Marigold: He’s kidding, dear. Just ignore him.

Cumulus: I’ve been doing that for the past fifteen years.

Marigold: Well, we have to catch the flight home. Call us tomorrow!

Citron: I guess I’m gonna miss you, sis.

Cumulus: Oh, c’mon; you love me.

Citron: Everybody loves you, sis. You don’t have to make it sound like a privilege to like you.

Cumulus: What? That’s crazy.

Citron: Tell that to the five boys who asked you to prom this last year.

Marigold: Alright, you two. No need to bicker.

Goldenrod: Ah, no problem, kiddo. You’ve earned it.

Marigold: We figured that since we’ll help your brother with his dream restaurant, we should help you with your dreams too. The house isn’t that furnished, though.

Goldenrod: We may be well off, but we aren’t made of money.

Cumulus: You guys are the best parents ever. You didn’t have to do any of this. I’m definitely going to have to come when Citron opens his restaurant.

Marigold: Speaking of your brother, Citron! Come over and say goodbye to your sister!
