Dusk: That berryhole! The next time I see his perfect little face I’m going to punch him so hard he’ll forget his own name.

Veronica: I think a lot of us would pay good money to see that. But I think the rumors will subside when you two can come back to school.

Veronica: And I’m assuming you two broke it off after… you know.

*Nod* Yes

Veronica: Well not according to him. He says that he visits you everyday like he’s some saint. I couldn’t believe him, so I had to come to see for myself.

Dusk: Well, that fudge-face hasn’t been here at all. He’s lying.

Veronica: He’s even told some of his friends that Dawn and him, did… I don’t want to go into detail.

Veronica: It’s like these past four years of high school have been him wanting to climb in popularity. Get the best girl to love you and so will everyone else. I guess as soon as you got the part of Rosemary as a junior, he saw that as an opportunity to boost him name.

Veronica: I would almost call it impressive. He would keep them for a couple months, but he would ditch them… as soon the girl lost popularity.

Veronica: Well, I’ve known him since middle school. We were in the same class in eighth grade. He was a pretty good kid. Nice, respectful, smart. But when we entered high school, it just all seemed to change. He would date all of these upperclassmen girls…

Dusk: That little jerkface? What about him? Other than he’s, you know, a jerk?

Veronica: It’s… about Cascade.

Veronica: So, uh, I need to talk to you about something else.

Huh?

Dusk: Really? What about?

Dusk: Ok, Dawn. I finished packing up- oh, who are you?

Veronica: Veronica Wolfsbane I’m Dawn’s understudy for the show.

Dusk: Oh. Mind if I join?

Veronica: Nope, feel free.

I do. We all think like that, sometimes. I’m glad you told me.

Veronica: I’m taking that as a… yes?

*Nod* Yes, yes.
