Dawn: Blaze?

Blaze: Hmm?

Dawn: Let’s get married.

Blaze: You look beautiful, Dawn.

Dawn: You don’t look so bad yourself.

Blaze: Well, I should hope so.

But none of that matter to us. It was just him and I; it was our day. It was finally time.

And, of course, Caramel and Blossom sat in the back with those smug little grins on their faces, taking credit for everything since they’re “love experts”. I still don’t really get that.

I think Dusk and Veronica were the most excited. They acted like proud parents the whole time. Even though I’m older than both of them by a couple of minutes in Dusk’s case.

We decided to keep it small, with just our immediate families.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mom cry this much. Unlike her, though, Dad and Blaze’s mom were not as teary-eyed. “It was a long time coming” they both said.
