Avocado: So, are you planning on going to the Formal?
Violette: Well, not really.
Avocado: Why not?
Violette: No one to go with. It would be boring if I went alone.
Avocado: So, are you planning on going to the Formal?
Violette: Well, not really.
Avocado: Why not?
Violette: No one to go with. It would be boring if I went alone.
Avocado: What’s it like now that your house is emptier.
Violette: It’s weird. With Cupid and Calypso gone, I never realized how much I loved having them around. I don’t know if we’re getting any more pets. And it’s ever weirder that Twizzle’s at college.
Avocado: I bet. I’m an only child, so I don’t really know what that’s like.
Violette: Well, I’m getting used to it now.
Avocado: You look good for a sea monster.
Violette: Psh, shut up.
Avocado: Sea monster, eh?
Violette: Avocado! I completely forgot you were coming today!
Avocado: You’re fine. I just hope I’m not interrupting.
Violette: Well, let’s go to my room. The project’s in there. Sorry kids, I have to cut this short.
Aurora: Ok, bye Violette!
Aurora: Oh no! It’s a horrifying sea monster!
Pepperment: We must steer clear of it!
Violette: Hiss…
Peppermint: Aye, lookout, are the seas clear?
Aurora: Aye, Captain, nothin’ to be seen!
Violette: Thanks for the ride. And, thanks for making me not feel worthless.
Avocado: Anytime. If you ever need someone to talk to, feel free to text me. I’d be happy to hang out.
Violette: Thanks. I mean it.
Avocado: I know.
( Avocado made by the wonderful @tragicplumbobs !)
Avocado: Well, I think you’re terrific. You’re intelligent, witty, and nice when you choose to.
Violette: Psh, thanks.
Avocado: I mean it. I’ll give you a ride.
Violette: Well, I can wa-
Avocado: I’m not taking no.
Violette: Fine.
Avocado: Why would you say that? I try to care for everyone.
Violette: Well, it just seems like whatever comes out of my mouth seems like I’m ungrateful. I’ve been told by adults, including our principal from grade school, that I just can’t be as good as my brother. Being the center of my family, I just feel like another Bliss, not my own person.
Avocado: That’s terrible.
Violette: Well, it’s not as bad as it sounds.
Violette: So I’m just left here.
Avocado: Well, that sucks. How often do you wait out here?
Violette: Eh, three times a week. Less if my moms don’t have work or my brother’s meetings are cancelled. It’s fine, though. It’s not too long.
Avocado: It doesn’t matter how long; you’re still alone.
Violette: Huh, for someone who I only know as my lab partner in science, you care quite a bit.
